Tobias & Linus have recorded a new piano version of the first single, "When the night turns cold". Specially for Itunes – out in UK and Scandinavia soon! It really smells like the 80:s, it´s one of those ballads that could have been taken from a Spandau Ballet-album. It´s far, far away from the original version. Tobias´ and Linus´s good friend Jimi Harlevi plays heavy trums, taken directly from the hell of the 80:s.

New releases! New labels! New countries! The album "Somewhere in the city" will be released in France, Belgium and Holland by PIAS via Poptones. Cinnamon is going to release it in Spain and Portugal.

November 29, tuesday:
Tobias and Ane Brun will do the duetsong Love & Misery live on the swedish radioshow "P3 Lantz". So, tune in swedish P3 that day.

November 2005:
Tobias´ Love & Misery (taken from the fourthcoming album) is one of ten songs on Ane Brun´s beautiful album Duets. The second day Itunes relased the album, Love & Misery was the 81 most downloaded song in Norway. If you have´nt heard the album, where Ane sings together with people like Ron Sexsmith, Teitur, Tingsek, Lars Bygdén and The Tiny, you have to go to www.anebrun.com and check it out, it´s really amazing!

October 2005: Tobias plays four shows in New York.
On October the 25:th, Tobias makes his US-debut at Knitting Factory, New York. And then three more dates in NY, Living Room (26th, just after Ane Brun), Coda (27th, with Teitur) and CB`s 313 Gallery, CBGB`s (28th). Tobias will also appear as the special guest when swedish singer Lars Bygdén celebrates his debutalbum in Sundsvall, Sweden. Date, October 12.

September 2005:
Tobias and Linus are making progress with the new album. It´s almost there! And the result will be fucking great – if you ask them. There is a new song called "Forever is just a word in a lovesong", and it sounds like a big boat in a perfect storm. The song was recorded in Linus´and Björn Yttlings (Peter Bjorn and John, Ceasars) studio in Hornstull, Stockholm. Tobias and Teitur are working on a new song, the first song they wrote together, "Somewhere in the city", will most certainly end up on this Tobias second album. What is there more to say? Well, Tobias´ well known fire-eggs is the kickstart you need every day. You need a HOT frying pan, too much olive oil, a couple of eggs and Tabasco – and some kind of a seasoning/cajun-spice. DO IT!

July 2005:
Tobias, Teitur & Ane Brun will do two shows together at Schenholms, Visby – on Gotland, where Tobias comes from. When? Look at the live-page! All we can say is you gotta be there! All 3 will also do a show on Kulturhuset, Stockholm this summer. When? Take a look at the livepage. The recording of Tobias´and Linus´ second album is like a dream! T & L are very content! Six songs are mixed – God´s Highway, For E again (together with Teitur), Love & misery (with Ane Brun), When the night turns cold (with Existensminumum), Now I know, Someone. T & L will record a couple of new songs during July – perhaps the newly written song together with Teitur, Somewhere in the city. "It´s a real bastard" claims Teitur & Tobias. During the last week of June, Linus is recording a really, really great (and well known) english artist on the countryside outside of London. Who is the artist? Well, time will tell... This is all for now! Hope you´re enjoying the summer!

May 2005:
Tobias will do two shows in London (see live-page). He will also play at the Go North festival gig on the 2nd June in Aberdeen, Scotland. More info later.

April/May 2005:
What is happening? Well, Tobias will do his first show in London, on May 10:th. This is the first show outside Scandinavia, but it will not be the last. A couple of more dates around the globe are in the pipeline, tba. What´s more to say? The new record is starting to get more colours. Ane Brun – she´s absolutely a fantastic singer, she´s the REAL DEAL – sings on two tracks. Teitur – another fantastic singer, another REAL DEAL – sings and play piano on one track. Tobias & Linus will work hard to, as they say, make the best record they have done. So far.

Mar 2005:
What is happening? Well, Tobias & Linus are working on the new album. They say: "If the first album smelled like soil, wood and horseshit (no, the music is not country-music, but it is music from the countryside), this new one has a strong smell of pedestrians, this is our city-record. We believe it´s gonna be great." This time some guests will appear in the songs. Magnus Henriksson (Existensminimum, Moneybrother) plays bongodrums like a madman on "When the night turns cold". The one and only Ane Brun will sing a duet on the song Oh my love. And, there will be more guests... More info later!

Feb 2005:
What is happening? Well, the album "For Elisabeth..." is being released in Denmark, let´s just hope the danes will like it! Tobias & Linus are working on the second album. There are aprox 15 new songs to record. The first steps are taken in Tobias apartment, under his bed. Thats true.

Jan 2005: The album "For Elisabeth Wherever She Is" is nominated for the album of the year in the category "Visa/singersongwriter", on the swedish Manifest 2005 – the awards for alternative, swedish recordlabels. Last years winner: Tobias´good friend, José González.
Where: Nalen, Stockholm.
When: Tuesday, 1 feb.
The result? No award. Fucking shit-awards.

The host for the swedish tv-show Musikbyrån (SVT), Magnus Broni, lists his favourites 2004... Read the list.
